Where is

THE CHURCH

St Peters Church, LE67 1AA

The church itself is located at the end of Church Lane, through the lychgates to the right. There is no parking on Church Lane (unless you’re lucky), but you can park on the main road. We’d recommend arriving with plenty of time to spare to secure somewhere to park.

Alternatively, park at the reservoir and walk up!

THE RECEPTION

The Willow Marsh Farm, LE12 6NZ

The venue for the reception is around a thirty minute drive from the church, in the countryside straddling the borders of Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, and Leicestershire.

There’s ample parking, so panic not.

If you want to leave your car here overnight you can, but it must be collected by 10:00 the next morning.

Where to stay

HOTELS

Willow Marsh kindly recommended the following places to stay (Don’t blame us if they’re awful):

AIRBNB

Alternatively, there’s AiBnB, which has buckets of options.

Transport

Due to the location of the venue, Uber don’t serve the area. Rather than chancing your luck finding one, the venue has recommended booking a taxi with a local service in advance.

AJ Cars come recommended, though again we haven’t used them. Don’t blame us if you end up being dropped off in a field with nothing but your pants. You can contact them to prearrange a taxi for the night here:

01509 279 279

You can leave your car at the venue, but it must be collected by 10:00 am the next morning.

Gifts

All we want is for you to join us.
That is all.

However if you insist, we are hoping to buy a touring caravan in spring to take George across the country on long weekends. A little something to put towards that wouldn’t be turned down. But again, and we cannot make this clear enough, all we want is for good friends, family, and people we thought it polite to invite, to be witness as our family unite in marriage and to join us for some good food and wine.
